My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Additive Manufacturing Specialist to join our team and drive innovation in 3D printing and advanced production processes. In this role, you will oversee the entire additive manufacturing workflow, ensuring efficiency, quality, and innovation in production. Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining 3D printing machines, optimizing production processes, and troubleshooting technical challenges. - 3D Printing Setup and Operation: Configure and operate 3D printing machines, ensuring optimal performance and high-quality output.
- Machine Management: Program, maintain, and oversee 3D printing equipment to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Production Process Monitoring: Supervise production activities, manage product labelling, maintain production documentation, and ensure organization within production cells.
- Maintenance Documentation: Develop, organize, and digitize maintenance and production-related documents, collaborating with the quality department to ensure accuracy and compliance.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience in Large Scale Additive Manufacturing, FDM 3D printing, or as a Milling Technician with non-additive technologies.
- Proficiency in CAM software and at least one 3D modeling tool.
- Experience with CNC machines (lathe, mill, or 3D printers) and maintenance processes.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments (calipers, tape measures, roughness testers, etc.).
- Competence with the MS Office suite, especially Word and Excel.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic fields (ITIS or ITS); a degree in Mechanical Engineering or specialization in Additive Manufacturing is a plus.
- Language Skills: High proficiency in either Italian or English; intermediate proficiency (B1) in the other language is preferred.
- Soft Skills: A quick thinker with a practical and precise approach, strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability to change, and attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
- Experience or aptitude in creating and optimizing production documentation.
